Our Vision

Who we are

We are a group of international volunteers, coming together from across the world, to host a variety of holistic, educational workshops, including self-enquiry, awareness, sustainability, healing and creativity.  We live in an intentional authentic community with huge appreciation and respect for the stunning natural environment with which we co-exist here on Mount Pelion.

Our community is a seasonal project, operating from May to October, and by nature a challenge as every season new volunteers join the core team forming a new ‘community-body’.
Such frequent changes in our team require flexibility, acceptance of diversity and constant adaptation to new situations.

We are inspired by the vision to develop a holistic world which encourages everyone to find and live their own personal truth and competences, and in so doing help build a new culture of openness, transparency, honesty and cooperative sharing.

Guests, participants and volunteers, all are participating in various quantities in the smooth running of the centre and therefore form the community of a specific week or period. The quality of such a temporary created community depends on every single one. We are inspired by the collaboration and deep encounters which are possible between people who arrive sometimes not longer as for a week-long workshop.

The heart of our community are the daily sharing circles where we practice various methods of communication like The Way of Council, Non Violent Communication (NVC), Radical Honesty, Dialogue Roadmap (DRM ) in larger or smaller groups. Conflict is inevitable wherever there is more than one person, and when it arises, we welcome the chance to work through to creative resolutions, using transparency, authenticity, and open communication. Taking ownership of our own thoughts, feelings and actions within these sharing circles creates a straightforward avenue for dialogue. Serving each other as a compassionate mirror of our own behaviour makes it possible to uncover layers of conditioning to move beyond self created limits.

These processes carry through into our simple everyday tasks like cooking, cleaning, administration or gardening and are a great opportunity to put into practice what we might otherwise be learning in holistic workshops about ourselves. We move towards shared leadership and trust in the competence and the responsibility of the individual. This trust has proven to be fertile soil for personal growth and self empowerment, the premise to find a good balance between personal needs and the well being of a bigger whole.
